The French caption on the reverse translates to:
“After their round-the-world flight, Captain Lancaster and Mrs. Miller arrive in Sydney. After a flight which took them from Croydon Aerodrome in England, the English captain Lancaster and Mrs. Miller landed at Mascot Aerodrome in Sydney on May 1st. This was the first time an aircraft of this kind had landed in Sydney. In the medallions, the two aviators, Capt. Lancaster and Mrs. Miller.”
